Montana’s Best Inspires Visitation To Anaconda, Montana

Fall of 2025, Julie Mac and her team, where on a filming quest to learn about Anaconda’s rich history. They quickly found unique experiences, attractions, and businesses that made it enticing to explore the once booming smelter town. Julie brings her viewers on an exploratory journey where they meet dynamic men and women who are passionately dedicated to providing these amazing services for the public to enjoy.

Through interviews, you can’t help but feel the pride and appreciation that locals have for their town. They are eager to tout what is offered and explain the details that sets it apart. For example, did you know that Anaconda still boasts the largest free standing smelter stack in the world while sporting a Jack Nicklaus championship golf course just minutes away?

Montana’s Best is excited to announce that on Friday, April 10th 2026, at the historical downtown Washoe Theatre (305 Main Street, Anaconda, MT 59711), two show episodes will premier featuring bits of Anaconda’s history and choice adventures that await visitors to Deer Lodge County. Doors open at 6:15pm for the free showing. Be sure to visit Jeremy at the concession stand to grab your snacks before 7pm. Afterward, Julie Mac will be hosting a brief panel of Montana local commerce, tourism, and film proponents. Time will allow for Q & A with the public.
